Steve has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. As the founder of Brass Financial, Steve has emerged as a thought-leader in the lending industry.
Before Brass, Steve was the President/CEO of Ivy League Mortgage with corporate headquarters based out of Northfield, NJ and overseen 16 additional branch offices located throughout the east coast. Steve was also responsible for the production of over 3 Billions dollars of residential loans and mortgage backed securities in addition to over 150 employees.
The trusted relationships Steve has formed with many private investors over the years allows Brass Financial to provide funding where other lenders fail.
Steve lives at the shore in south Jersey with his wife Dawn of over 30 years and has two children. His daughter Bianca is currently attending college and his son Dane has joined him in the family business and helps run operations.
He is especially proud of the relationships he has built with hundreds of clients who he now calls friends - who he was able to help as they pursued their dreams.
Dane joined Brass Financial in 2016 where he helped develop and establish the company for what it is today. Dane oversees operations ensuring the customer experience is fast, easy, and reliable - which is the Brass Financial promise!
Before Brass, Dane worked in the restaurant industry since he was 13 years old, from busing tables to managing the restaurant, he has always excelled in whatever was thrown his way. Aside from Brass Financial Group, Dane runs Brass's residential redevelopment company that buys, rehabs, and sells real estate along with building their rental portfolio. Dane is also co-owner of Coastal Cabinets, specializing in wholesaling kitchen cabinets.
Dane Lives in south Jersey where he was born and raised. Besides work, Dane has been an assistant boys high school lacrosse coach for the past six years at Ocean City High School, and enjoys boating and golfing in his free time.
Dane is here for clients at any time of the day to answer questions or if they need advice on anything real estate related, Dane will go out of his way to help. He loves seeing projects come together and seeing his clients reach their goals!
Dawn has been with Brass Financial since the beginning. She is also a realtor in Ocean City, based out of the 34th street office of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Fox & Roach.
